ABLP St. John’s City West Branch Distributes Easter Food Baskets to Elderly Residents

The ABLP St. John’s City West Branch marked the Easter season by distributing food baskets to elderly residents in the Point and Villa communities, in an effort to recognise their contributions and support vulnerable members of the constituency.
The initiative, carried out on behalf of MP Gaston Browne, forms part of the branch’s annual outreach, with organisers noting that this is the second consecutive year the effort has been undertaken.
In a statement, the group said the activity was inspired by the message of Easter, reflecting on “the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” and the values of love, sacrifice and compassion associated with the season.
The branch said the distribution was also intended to honour the elderly for their role in shaping the community, adding that their “wisdom and sacrifices will never be forgotten.”
Residents in the Point and Villa areas received the baskets, which were described as a token of appreciation from the constituency organisation.
