BREAKING: PM Browne Prevails in U.S. Appeals Court in Alfa Nero Matter

THIS IS A DEVELOPING STORY MORE TO COME: U.S. Appeals Court Upholds Ruling, Rejects Guryeva Discovery Bid
The United States Court of Appeals has upheld a lower court decision rejecting an application for discovery filed by Yulia Guryeva in litigation connected to the Alfa Nero matter.
In its ruling, the appellate court affirmed the earlier decision of the United States District Court, which denied Guryeva’s request and quashed subpoenas issued to the The Clearing House and the Federal Reserve System.
As a result of the decision, all documents obtained by Guryeva’s attorneys through those subpoenas must now be destroyed, with certification required to confirm compliance.
Legal representatives said they will also explore whether costs incurred during the appellate proceedings can be recovered.
Although Guryeva may seek to take the matter to the Supreme Court of the United States, such an appeal is not guaranteed and would be subject to the court’s discretion. Legal observers note that only a small number of cases are accepted for review.
The decision marks a further development in U.S.-based legal proceedings tied to the high-profile dispute.
