Jermaine Nicholas Charged With Murder
St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Friday, March 27, 2026
The police have formally arrested and charged 24-year-old Jermaine Nicholas of Ovals, All Saints in connection with the murder of 29-year-old Jahmarie Pierre of Mc Pond, All Saints.
The offence occurred on Wednesday, March 25, in the vicinity of the All Saints traffic lights.
It is alleged that shortly after 5:00 p.m., the deceased was involved in an altercation with another male during which he sustained a stab wound. He was subsequently transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where he was later pronounced dead.
The accused was arrested and taken into police custody shortly after the incident and has since been formally charged.
Nicholas is expected to make his first appearance before the court sometime next week.
Meanwhile, the Police Administration wishes to thank the general public for their continued support and assistance in this and other matters. The police also take this opportunity to appeal to young adults to refrain from violent conduct and to resolve differences in a peaceful and lawful manner.
