Family and Volunteers Rally in Search for Missing Zakeem Nicholas

Relatives and volunteers have stepped up search efforts for Zakeem Nicholas, who has been missing at sea since Friday, February 13, 2026.
Nicholas was last seen that day, but family members say details surrounding his disappearance remain unclear. In response, they have launched a community-led search and are urging the public to assist as fears grow for his safety.
A public appeal circulated on Friday called for anyone with boats, jet skis, drones or search lights to help comb the area. “Every minute costs,” the notice read, underscoring the urgency of the effort.
The appeal has been widely shared on social media, with supporters rallying behind the family in hopes of generating leads.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Sonya at 788-7925 or his father, Stafford Nicholas, at 724-0934. There has been no official update on the circumstances of his disappearance. Search efforts continue.
