The National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA) will begin a national clean-up campaign in the Five Islands community on Monday 2 February.
The initiative forms part of the government’s “Love Where You Live” campaign, aimed at improving sanitation and encouraging residents to take responsibility for their surroundings.
In a statement, the authority urged residents to spread the word and work together to beautify the area and help keep Antigua and Barbuda clean.
The NSWMA said similar clean-up activities are expected to roll out in other communities across the country.
