Motorists travelling through Hodges Bay are being advised to use alternative routes as drainage works continue in the area.
Construction is currently under way on a swale drain near Matthias Drive, just south of Breeze Pointe Apartments. The works have resulted in traffic disruptions, prompting officials to recommend a detour via Matthias Drive or the use of other access routes to reach nearby destinations.
Authorities have apologised for the inconvenience and have thanked motorists and residents for their patience while the improvements are carried out.
The project forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen and upgrade the country’s road infrastructure.
