Antigua Cruise Port to unveil new terminal this weekend

Antigua Cruise Port says it is preparing to unveil its new cruise terminal later this month, marking what officials describe as the next phase of cruise tourism development in Antigua and Barbuda.
In a social media post, the port announced a countdown to the official unveiling on Jan. 24, 2026, with a series of updates outlining the journey from concept to completion.
The development forms part of the Upland Development Project, undertaken in partnership with the Government of Antigua and Barbuda and Global Ports Holding.
Antigua Cruise Port said the project reflects a shared commitment to modernizing cruise infrastructure, improving passenger experiences and generating sustainable economic benefits for residents.

The port noted that the terminal evolved from early concepts into detailed plans and final designs intended to bring that vision to life.
The port operator said additional details will be shared in the days leading up to the unveiling.
