Antiguan Referee Shemroy Alie Selected for 2026 CONCACAF Referee Academy


Young Antiguan referee Shemroy Alie departed on Saturday, January 17, for Panama to participate in the 2026 CONCACAF Referee Academy.
Alie was selected for the elite programme, which features an intensive two-week schedule of on-field and off-field training designed to develop match officials for regional and international competitions.
The Antigua and Barbuda Football Association (ABFA) congratulated Alie on the achievement, noting that Antiguan match officials continue to make strong progress and gain recognition across the region.
The association also commended Head of Referees Kelesha Antoine, along with technical instructors Darez Dundas and Ishan Philip, for their ongoing work in preparing local officials for high-level regional and international courses.
