The Rotary Club of Antigua, in partnership with the Bellevue Breakfast Rotary Club in Washington state, has donated 500 laptops to support students at the Antigua and Barbuda College of Advanced Studies.

The donation forms part of Rotary’s long-running Education Through Technology programme, which has supplied computers to schools across Antigua and Barbuda since 2008. Rotary officials said an additional 1,500 laptops are expected to arrive shortly, as part of efforts to expand access to digital learning.

College administrators said the devices will be deployed across the institution’s five campuses and used through a loan system to support students who lack personal devices, as enrollment increases following the government’s move to waive tertiary education fees.

Education officials welcomed the contribution, describing it as a significant boost to digital access, online learning, and student support services across the tertiary sector.
