Thousands flee fighting in Syria’s Aleppo

  • Clashes have renewed in Aleppo between the Syrian army and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
  • The Syrian army has declared Aleppo’s Kurdish areas “closed military zones” and ordered civilians to leave, as clashes with the SDF extended into a second day.
