Cnc3– US Attorney General Pamela Bondi has announced that Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, have been indicted in the Southern District of New York on multiple charges, including narco-terrorism conspiracy, cocaine importation conspiracy, and possession of machineguns and destructive devices.
In a statement on Twitter on Saturday, Bondi said the couple “will soon face the full wrath of American justice on American soil in American courts.”
She thanked President Donald Trump for demanding accountability and praised US military personnel for what she described as an “incredible and highly successful mission” to capture the pair, whom she called “alleged international narco traffickers.”

Bondi said the Department of Justice stands behind the operation, emphasising that the charges reflect the US commitment to pursuing international criminal accountability.
