SLBMC Welcomes First New Year Baby


The Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre has welcomed its first and only New Year baby, marking a joyful start to 2026.
Hospital officials announced the birth of a healthy baby girl to Junique Charles Archibald. Both mother and child are reported to be in good health.
The medical centre said the arrival was the sole New Year birth recorded at the facility, making the occasion a notable milestone for staff and family alike.
The Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre also extended thanks to Yvonne and Ronald Fraser for donating a gift basket in celebration of the New Year baby, describing the gesture as a welcome display of community goodwill.

Hospital officials congratulated the family and wished them well as they begin the new year with their newest addition.
