Police Probe String of House Break-ins Across Multiple Communities

Police are investigating a string of house break-ins reported over a 24-hour period in George Street, Yorks, Gray’s Hill and Potters Village.
Authorities said homeowners in several cases had secured their residences before leaving, only to return and find windows or doors forced open. Intruders ransacked bedrooms and kitchens, making off with electronics, jewelry, household items and cash.
Investigators noted similar methods of entry, including the removal of glass louvres and prying open wooden doors. No suspects have been identified despite neighborhood canvassing and searches.
Police urged residents to remain vigilant and take added precautions during the busy season, and said patrols will be increased in and around the city.
