Pringle congratulates St Vincent and the Grenadines on ‘historic’ election outcome

The Political Leader of Antigua and Barbuda’s United Progressive Party (UPP), Hon. Jamale Pringle, has congratulated the people of St Vincent and the Grenadines following their general election on Thursday, 27 November 2025.

In a statement shared on social media, Mr Pringle commended Vincentians for what he described as a “historic vote”, acknowledging the victory of Dr Godwin Friday and the New Democratic Party (NDP). He said the result marked a significant moment for the country and expressed confidence in the newly elected administration.

Mr Pringle also conveyed well wishes to Dr Friday as he prepares to assume office, noting that democratic participation across the region remains a vital cornerstone of Caribbean governance.

The UPP leader highlighted the importance of continued cooperation and unity among Caribbean nations, adding that his party looks forward to strengthening ties with St Vincent and the Grenadines under its new leadership.
