Senator Launches Crime-Safety Town Halls in St John’s Rural West

A series of town hall meetings focusing on community policing and crime prevention has been announced for St John’s Rural West. The sessions, organised by Senator Michael Joseph in partnership with the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda, aim to strengthen dialogue between residents and law-enforcement officials.
The first meeting is scheduled for 27 November at the UWI Five Islands Campus, followed by gatherings on 3 December at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Golden Grove Extension and 10 December at the Grays Green Multi-Purpose Centre.
Senior officers from the St John’s and Grays Farm police stations, along with representatives from the CID and the Public Complaint Department, are expected to attend. Organisers say the meetings will give residents an opportunity to raise concerns and share suggestions on improving community safety.
