Here are the new immigration officers who will be stationed at the new Barbuda Airport

SOURCE: GIS ANTIGUA & BARBUDA- Attorney General and Minister with responsibility for Immigration Hon. Sir Steadroy Benjamin has advised trainee Immigration Officers, who will be assigned to the new Barbuda International Airport, to put their best foot forward.

Seven young Barbudans began a two week training to function as Immigration Officers are the new Barbuda International Airport ahead of its October 3, 2024 opening.

Sir Steadroy called on the trainees to be pioneers for Barbuda by ensuring the operations of the new airport are of a high standard.

Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Barbuda Affairs Sen. the Hon. Knacyntar Nedd-Charles has encouraged the trainees to put their best foot forward. She advise them to take their functions seriously and to carry out their duties with integrity.

The training is being conducted by Deputy Chief Immigration Officer Mr. Nigel Emanuel and Officer in Charge of Barbuda Ms. Jo-Ann Small.
