Beating Bush Fires to protect biodiversity! The US Forest Service Natural Infrastructure for Caribbean Resilience #NICaR program rounded off a successful Wildland Fire Investigation Training in St. John’s Antigua & Barbuda. The Instructors were US Forest Service Fire Prevention Technician Dawn Sanchez and Jamaica Fire Brigade team: Christopher Brown, Marlon Buchanan, O’Neil Kerr, Lebert Gray and Rowan Williams.

The session engaged nearly 50 participants from from the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda; Wallings Nature Reserve Inc; Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Barbuda Affairs, Ministry of Health and Environment; National Office of Disaster Services; Air Traffic Control Department, NGOs and other organizations.
