Senator Rawdon Turner Leads Effort to Rebuild for Parham Town Family After Devastating Fire

In the aftermath of a tragic fire that destroyed the home of a family of 11 in Parham Town, Senator Rawdon Turner, ABLP Caretaker for St. Peter, has launched a rebuilding effort, marking a new beginning for the affected family.

Drawing inspiration from the biblical passage Nehemiah 2:20, Turner expressed hope and gratitude, stating, “The God of heaven will give us success. We his servants will start rebuilding.”

Turner announced that the foundation and floor for the family’s new home have been laid, thanks to the overwhelming support from the community. He praised the generosity and kindness shown by those who have donated, volunteered, or offered prayers, turning a tragedy into hope for the future.

“While the flames took their home, your generosity is helping restore what was lost,” Turner said. He emphasized that the community’s efforts are creating not just a house, but a future filled with faith and promise for the family.

As the rebuilding continues, Turner expressed his deep appreciation for everyone involved, saying, “May God bless each of you as we continue this journey of rebuilding and renewal.”

The family, who lost everything in last Sunday’s fire, now has a chance to rebuild their lives, thanks to the collective support of the Parham Town community and beyond.
