The Organisation of American States (OAS) has confirmed that its 55th General Assembly will be held in St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, from June 25 to 27, 2025.
Antigua and Barbuda’s Ambassador, Sir Ron Sandals, introduced a resolution at the OAS Permanent Council meeting in Washington, DC, finalizing the venue, date, and theme: “Building Resilient, Inclusive Economies in the Americas.”
Sir Ron highlighted the theme’s focus on resilience and inclusivity, stressing the need for continuous progress. The resolution received unanimous support, underscoring the region’s shared commitment to strengthening economies and improving citizens’ lives.
