Police Response Delayed as Generator Stolen in Hodges Bay Break-In

Authorities in Antigua and Barbuda are investigating a break-in at a residence in Hodges Bay, where a heavy Generac generator was stolen overnight.

A report of suspicious activity at the home of the Wallings was made to police on the night of Wednesday, March 5. However, officers did not arrive at the scene until the following morning, by which time the culprits had already fled with the stolen equipment.

The incident has heightened concerns among residents, as the area has seen a rise in break-ins and robberies in recent weeks. Authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activity.
