Ian Lewis’s tenure as head of APUA’s Water Business Unit ends today amid efforts to restructure the department and tackle ongoing water challenges. Utilities Minister Melford Nicholas emphasized the country’s shift from traditional water sources to reverse osmosis plants over the last 30 years. An interim replacement, likely an engineer from within the department, will be appointed, with General Manager John Bradshaw offering guidance during the transition. A search for a permanent successor is set to begin shortly.
