Shania Samuel is set to represent Antigua and Barbuda on the regional stage once more as she competes in the Miss OECS Pageant on January 31st at Windsor Park Stadium in Dominica.
The police constable, celebrated for promoting body acceptance and breaking barriers for plus-size women in pageantry, will enter the competition as contestant number one.
Samuel’s impressive track record includes earning first runner-up at the True Blue Beauty Pageant last October.
Antigua and Barbuda’s previous representative, Thyanna Sebastian, also achieved a second runner-up finish at this event. The current titleholder is Claire-Marissa Smartt of St. Lucia.
