An employee of the Ministry of Trade was attacked and injured during a violent incident at the ministry’s office in the Bryson’s Complex, Friars Hill Road, this morning.
The victim, a driver employed by the ministry, suffered chop wounds to his back and hands after being assaulted by two unidentified individuals.
The motive for the attack remains unclear.
The injured man was rushed to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center, where he is being treated for injuries described as non-life-threatening.
