Unhealthy air quality levels were reported yesterday across the Eastern Caribbean due to an unusually large surge of Sahara Dust. “Air quality is improving across the Eastern Caribbean; however, it is still unhealthy for sensitive groups across some islands. It is moderate for Antigua,” reported Antiguan meteorologist Dale Destin. Those most at risk include individuals with respiratory or heart conditions, elderly people, and children.
