Police are investigating the discovery of a decomposing body in a villa near Runaway Beach on Christmas Eve.
The body, identified as that of a 60-year-old man, was found shortly after 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
Authorities have confirmed that the man lived alone, and no foul play is suspected at this time.
Investigators are awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.
This incident occurred around the same time as another case on Redcliffe Street, where the decomposing body of an 86-year-old man was found under similar circumstances.
