My letter in response to a published article about Senator Dwayne George today. This letter is also to Bolans Village, St. Mary’s Parish, Antigua, MP Simon, Senator George, PM Brown, AG Benjamin, My Bolans “family”

Bolans Village, the place I am from, needs and deserves more than the basics. It is time for our leaders become creative, innovative and brilliant whether they are selected or elected leaders. Let us stop promising what should already be occurring and provide those things and more.

My Bolans Village, St. Mary’s Parish, Antigua deserves advanced and innovative progress that include but is not limited to creation of industries, community owned farms/stores/businesses, community members who are sports stars to have their products on sale like shirts, wood carved and other material made statutes of these local stars/heroes available for sale to the community, Antiguans and Barbudans abroad to share with their abroad family, and mostly, for tourist to bring in international dollars and exporting/sharing our culture and talents (had international soccer/sport shirt collectors on island looking for local sport stars/heroes soccer and cricket player shirts/etcetera for purchase for their collections but none was available).

The community store/market can have and sell shirts for Tyrone “Pacer” Williams, Derrick (prettyboy) Edwards, Michael Murray, Peter Byers, Blair Christian (Basketball Ball), Gavin Williams (cricket), Peters (the Tennis guy), Janeel (the keep that flies and reverse mid-air) Peters (I am not sure if his last name is peters), Pumpkin (I think they said he is a worry expert),  Lornell (he was a great Batmans), Judy and sister (played decent soccer), and other village or parish community sport stars, even people who excel in other fields (like art). Artist from the community could be employed in this industry to making memorabilia of our local heroes and sports stars. Let these people see we appreciate them and their impact. Plus, I am tired of seeing products from other countries being sold as ours to tourist.

Community sports stars/heroes’ contribution and love for the game and our appreciation of these heroes can also encourage local youths to strive for the best and stay on the right path because they too can achieve this local fame and rewards. Shirts and other memorabilia sale-profits (about our local sports heroes) can be shared/divided with the player and the community. This store will be a great tourist stop for this constituency with the most hotels (if that is true).

You, politicians, can start making a substantial impact in your community without substantial money. You no longer in this era have any excuses like; I do not have money, or it is not my political party in office, for your failure to push your community forward. You simply need to be brilliant, creative, innovative and pragmatic to advance your community. I have not seen one political leader (selected or elected) employing creativity and innovation in Antigua and Barbuda. This is the sad truth.

YouTube exist, have a “mini ministry” of sports for Bolans Village (since the big one seems to be incompetent) and start to make it vitally important to record and upload Bolans village’s team games, establishing the Bolans Village YOUTUBE Channel, ensure this channel is owned by the community.  This idea creates money and exposes our youths to great opportunities worldwide. It practically costs nothing to do but has the potential of significant rewards. If you need a camera and internet, I can provide you with such.

Also, start shopping around Bolans Village, St. Mary’s Parish, Antigua and Barbuda’s games on the PM Gaston Browne radio and TV (if he has a tv channel, I thought I heard this), ABS, regional stations, and other international sports TV channel (on optimum there are so many sports channels which are blank, they need sport content, and they pay well, even if you are getting just $100,000 a year, it is better than nothing).

If you guys only get the creative, the brilliant and innovative person you probably do not deserve but should get, to begin working for the community of Bolans Village and St. Mary’s Parish, Antigua and Barbuda, I see that community advancing and many locals becoming millionaires in Bolans Village, St. Mary’s Parish, Antigua and Barbuda. Our youths would definitely feel hopeful and are more encouraged. Not just your gutter being cleaned and some food for the poor but real opportunities being offered. Not just scholarships with no jobs to come back to. But industries are being developed so you can truly use your degrees and make a decent living. Having options.

I see so much potential for that community (Bolans Village) to make hundreds of millions and even billions of dollars for locals in Bolans Village and the locals in Antigua and Barbuda. I wish the locals could see what I see and do what I do. What representative can make you financially stable or even wealthy? You really need to look at that question. You will know who to vote for when one or all of these recommendations come to light, that is the person you should vote for. I am ensuring politicians will see this list and creativity. I hope they emulate it.

In regulatory/administrative law, I have gotten so many people to achieve businesses, profitability, fundings (millions), and green cards  (I have literally made people wealthy/rich; I am still in shock today that a person from Bolans Village could have done this, numerous times). I am able to match locals with past US clients in various fields to get work experience in the US (also can assist you in getting approvals for the US visa or green cards) for you to travel to such US business to get weeks or months or years of training, the level of experience and development you will never get in Antigua and Barbuda at this time.  You what I want to do, provide job practice options for student at State College, Jennings secondary school and of course, Bolans Primary School. Other St. Mary’s Parish schools could be worked in.

I genuinely am so disappointed that we are still at the level of promising or providing basic services to win an election. In the year 2024/2025 a person who was selected or elected to represent a constituency should not be making offers and promises for basic things like bridge/road repair, and food for those in need.  Bridge repair should exist with the building of a bridge and feeding the poor should already be a task that the community tries to satisfy daily and yearly. The truth is these services should have already existed and should be regular services in any country in the year 2024/2025. It is those innovate, progressive advanced and pragmatic endeavors like what I am listing here that Bolans Villagers should be hearing and getting from politicians who want their votes, nothing less.

Diverse job opportunities, instead of just working at the hotels, is an area that should really be developed. Providing locals with more prestigious jobs so that more people can feel that pride we all want. Community trust funds should already exist. The ability for the community to buy community treasury bonds to fund community projects and guarantee a decent return with at least the same interest the banks offer (to motivate constituents to invest in their community and still get that amount they would get if they put the money in a bank to be used by that institution for their profit, extra motivation is that you are investing in your community and getting more done in your community).

Since the Parish has the most hotels (if true), encouraging, and supporting endeavors that has substantial positive impact on tourism should be considered to be of national and international importance to ensure such businesses/endeavors get the license and tools that is reasonably required to fully function and feel secure. so that these same entities will impact positively this same community with the most hotels (so it was wrong for PM Brown and ABLP to say I cannot help you and ignore request for basic support). This is a Business that would have hired locals in prestigious fields like legal representation, medical care (MD, Nurse, home health aide, medical transportation, mental and emotional health counseling, nature, etcetera), international relation, etcetera.

Do you know what is connected to the beauty of Antigua and Barbuda? Mental and emotional health services. Now combine mental and emotional health services with nature and the environment, you now have a new industry for Antigua and Barbuda. Encouraging folks to come to the Island for mental health services with nature therapy and as I described, there are numerous billion-dollars US funds that pays for mental health services for victims of crimes/abuse/terrorism. Antigua and Barbuda could incorporate this kind of tourism into their already established tourism.

Also, as a leader, you do not need to know who a person is to listen to their issues and present yourself as a person who wants to help instead of focusing only on who the person is. Some people do not want to say who they are and just want to see you are ready to help as a leader. When a client calls me, I do not ask who they are, I listen to their problem, and I provide them with solutions (ideas). I do not generally charge for consultation, so I provide the consultation without knowing who they are or without a fee because I am more focused on helping. I believe this quality is more important for a politician. I have not seen that quality in any leader (selected or elected in Antigua so far).

I have an issue, and to this day not one has attempted to do anything about it and for that reason, I will not encourage anyone to go in either direction. In fact, I will use my power to push in the direction that assists my endeavor/business that was formed by me to help locals with great and different great paying job options. Politicians for my Bolans Village need to understand the locals are not so basic, and worthless that they only need to be convinced by promising the basics like gutter cleaning, road/bridge repairs, and food. You have to be creative and turn $0 into millions and numerous opportunities, try it. It can be done, I know someone who did and is doing it.

In Bolans Village, politicians, should tomorrow go and broker with the local hotels for them to promise that their hotels will buy a minimum amount of their needs from villagers. The government then needs to make it law for hotels to take all reasonable actions to find their needs (whatever percentage) from local villagers and another percentage from the country in general. Pushing for local hotels to have a minimum local purchase requirements from locals in that community and a minimum purchase requirement for Antigua and Barbuda in general would be highly beneficial for the locals that reduces investment risk for locals (in agriculture and other areas). This obviously would provide motivation for investments in all aspects of Antigua and Barbuda, from locals. This also pushes the preservation of certain fruit trees you do not see much anymore. This is another example of how you can be a broke or selected (unpaid) politician but still have a significant impact on your people, community and country.

Also, as a leader, you do not need money or to know who a person is to listen to their issues and present yourself as a person who wants to help instead of you as a leader is focusing only on who the person is. Some people do not want to say who they are but still hope for the politician’s help.

When a client calls me, I do not ask who they are, I listen to their problem, and I provide them with solutions (ideas). I do not generally charge for consultation, so I provide the consultation without knowing who they are or without a fee because I am more focused on helping.  Try this idea guys. I believe this quality is more important for a politician. I have not seen that quality in any leader (selected or elected in Antigua and Barbuda).

I have an issue, and to this day not one has attempted to do anything about it and for that reason, I will not encourage anyone to go in either direction. In fact, I will use my power to push in the direction that assist my endeavor/business that are formed to help locals with a great and different paying job.

It is time for leaders to focus on helping Bolans villagers and stop ignoring them and telling them you cannot help them or outright ignore their cries for help to do great things for their country, community, and family. It is time we become creative, innovative and progressive and this when we are doing these things we would be able to say this is my way of helping

Oh, I forgot this article should not be construed as me having an intent to enter into Antigua politics.
