Ministry of Agriculture Urges Farmers to Register for Identification Card Programme

The Ministry of Agriculture is calling on all agro-processors, beekeepers, crop farmers, and livestock farmers to register for its ongoing Identification Card Programme. Designed to streamline agricultural services, the Ministry encourages anyone involved in agriculture who has yet to register to do so promptly.

To facilitate the registration process, farmers can contact their district officers or reach the Agricultural Extension Division at 462-1065 or 562-5214. Additionally, registration can be completed in person at the Division’s office, located in the former PDO building opposite King George V Playing Field.

The Ministry anticipates strong cooperation from the agricultural community to ensure efficient support for farmers across the region.
