A family in Seaview Farm is appealing for urgent assistance after a devastating fire completely destroyed their two-bedroom wooden home on Wednesday afternoon.

Firefighters responded to the blaze just before 2 p.m., but by the time they arrived, the house was already engulfed in flames and could not be saved.

One of the occupants was home when the fire broke out, but despite the rapid escalation of the blaze, no injuries were reported. Unfortunately, the fire consumed everything inside the home, leaving the family without shelter or belongings.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation by local authorities.

Among the displaced family members is a 15-year-old student attending All Saints Secondary School.

The family, left with nothing but the clothes they were wearing at the time of the fire, is now in desperate need of assistance to rebuild their lives.
