24-Year-Old Woman Dies After Medical Emergency Despite EMS Efforts

SOURCE- STATEMENT MEDIA: A family is mourning the sudden loss of a 24-year-old woman who died on Monday after suffering a heart attack, despite urgent efforts by Emergency Medical Services personnel to save her life.
Emergency medical technicians responded to reports that the young woman was unresponsive and began life-saving measures at the scene. An automated external defibrillator was used and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) was administered as she was rushed to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.
A motorist captured footage of two EMS units transporting the patient from Buckleys to the hospital shortly after midday.
Despite sustained resuscitation efforts during transport, she was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
EMS management extended condolences to the woman’s family and acknowledged the efforts of the medical team involved in the response. The medics — Coull Graham, Timra Mourillon, Deika Alfred and Marina Walker — were commended for their work in attempting to save her life.
