A West Jet flight touched down at V. C. Bird International Airport with 94 passengers on Sunday afternoon.

The plane’s arrival marks the airline’s first flight to Antigua & Barbuda since the pandemic.

Tourism officials welcomed the flight at a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony at the airport.

“Tourism is our life blood,” said Minister Fernandez who welcomed the airline.
