Three Antiguan women were among the winners at the Caribbean Posh Icon Women Awards held in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands.
Makeup artist Charity Henry, of Makeup by Charity H, received the Artistry in Beauty Award, while Carlene Spencer, Learning and Development Manager at Sandals Grande Antigua, won the Education Innovator Award. Environmental advocate Sasha Middleton was honoured with the Environmental Stewardship Award for her work with the Caribbean Feminist Climate Justice Movement.
The event, part of the Caribbean Posh Weekend from 27 to 29 June, also featured several other Antiguan nominees, including fitness entrepreneur Kevinia Francis, Kelesha Antoine, Tamorla Millette, Refica Attwood, Keisha Knight, and Chaneil Imhoff.
Winners were selected through a public voting process.
