The Dona Lala Foundation, a local non-profit organization founded five years ago, made a meaningful donation of essential supplies and clothing to Her Majesty’s Prison on Wednesday.
The initiative underscores the foundation’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility and giving back to the community.
The foundation is led by Juan Valdez, a local entrepreneur and owner of Valdez Cleaning Company. Valdez added that the foundation intends to make similar donations throughout the year and invited the prison administration to share lists of urgently needed items.
Welfare Officer Pauline Charles received the donation on behalf of the Superintendent and staff, expressing appreciation for the timely support.
The donation included toiletries, clothing, and other essential items aimed at improving the living conditions of the incarcerated population.
