Last month, Bruli Valdez of St. Johnstons Village faced legal issues after assaulting three police officers, including Shawn Silston, on January 27.

Valdez pleaded guilty to battery but not guilty to resisting arrest.

The resisting arrest charge was dismissed due to a lack of evidence.

For the battery charges, Valdez received fines totaling $1,350.00.

The court ordered immediate payment, with a warning of a one-month imprisonment term at H.M.P for each charge if not paid promptly, to be served concurrently.
