PM Browne addressing 76 UNGA Virtually from Antigua

Prime Minister Gaston Browne has used his address to the United Nations General Assembly today to denounce what he calls vaccine apartheid.

His Excellency Mr. Abdulla Shahid of Maldives is presiding over the 76th session of the General Assembly (UNGA), which opened yesterday in New York.

Under the theme ‘Building Resilience through Hope’, world leaders will focus on escalating the global response to end the COVID-19 pandemic and accelerate progress on the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in developing countries.
