Sir Ramez Hadeed Passes Away

Sir Ramez Hadeed has passed away.

The Government of Antigua and Barbuda expresses deepest condolences to the Hadeed Family on the passing of Ambassador Ramez Hadeed, one of the longest serving diplomats appointed in 1981, following Independence.

Prime Minister Browne, a friend of Ambassador Ramez Hadeed, reports that he and Mrs. Maria Browne went to visit this outstanding citizen yesterday afternoon, Wednesday 6 December 2023, only to learn that he had been taken to the hospital.

He took a turn for the worse and died shortly thereafter.

Ambassador Ramez Hadeed’s death has left our country poorer and his family in deep mourning. The people of Antigua and Barbuda feel this loss.
