ABS TELEVISION: The John Hughes community is celebrating a special milestone—Rose Osila Veneta Carty, known to many as “Auntie,” has officially joined the ranks of Antigua & Barbuda’s centenarians!
Family, friends, and officials, including Governor General’s Deputy Sir Clare Roberts, gathered at Charlesworth T. Samuel Primary School to honour her.
Ms Carty, a beloved shopkeeper famous for her ginger beer and other local delights, shared her wisdom: “Have faith in God, do the right thing, and love one another.”
Happy 100th, Auntie!
