During a joint operation at the General Post Office, the Narcotics Department and Customs Taskforce discovered a package containing a green, bushy substance resembling cannabis.

Rae Peters from Bolans Village, who was there to collect the package, was present when officers found the substance, which weighed 391 grams with an estimated street value of $6,000 E.C.
Peters was taken to Police Headquarters for further investigation.
Junior Minister Dwayne George, who accompanied Peters, stated he was not involved in the offense.

He explained that he merely assisted a friend in arranging a meeting with the Postmaster General to clear the package, with no further involvement.
