Observer Newsco has rejected a statement from the Prime Minister’s office asking the media outlet to ‘correct’ an article.

Observer says the article alludes to ‘talk’ of a pay rise for Cabinet ministers, which did indeed take place last weekend on a local radio station prompting public servants to also request an increase.

“The article clearly states that PM Browne said any such payrise for his ministers would not be imminently forthcoming,” Observer said.
