Minister Maria Browne announced that the Ministry of Housing, Works, Lands & Urban Development has officially launched the National Highway & Community Beautification Project.

This initiative seeks to elevate the visual appeal of our highways while actively contributing to global endeavors in addressing climate change.

Collaborating with the Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA), the National Housing & Urban Development Co has meticulously identified locations for planting palm trees along Friars Hill Road.

To ensure the unimpeded growth of the palms without affecting infrastructure, electric wires will be buried underground in 2024.
