Dear Queen Donna

I am penning these few lines, to let you know that I endorsed your apology that was recently addressed to the Attorney General.

Sometimes, as human beings, our emotions do take the best of us and pride and arrogance even prevent us from apologizing to the opposing party, especially when we are wrong. However, you certainly displayed the opposite and showcased a remorseful character.

I have listened to you many times on the radio and i am extremely impressed with your articulation & your knowledge base of the nation’s political affairs. It is evident that you are a very intelligent & well informed young lady.

Because I see you as a person with an astute disposition, I found it difficult to comprehend as to what caused you to act out of character and hence, used the social media platform to broadcast such crude & despicable comments concerning the actions taken by the Attorney General in reference to the proposed housing project in his constituency.

Instantly, I was led to think whether or not you were trying to use a perfect opportunity, similar to that of a drunkard person,  to express or vent what has been on your mind for awhile and then, use the alibi of been drunk in this case upset, to ask for pardon.

Ofcourse,  the gravity of your tenancy in relation to the Belmont area should not go unnoticed. But as a prominent public figure with the Labour Party, including being a chairperson of a board, the manner in which you aggressively attacked the nation’s Attorney General who is at the sametime your political party colleague was extremely disrespectful, unwarranted, rude, embarrassing & of poor taste.

In my view,  the hierarchy of ABLP, should have summons you to be disciplined. Accepting a simple apology from you is certainly not enough. I am now left to wonder if it is because the PM refer to you as queen Donna, why such discplinary actions has not taken place?

I am sure each member of the Labour party is govern by a code of conduct. And if such code of conduct is violated then there should be consequences not for some but for whoever breaches the code, including you.
