Apua electricity worker
Dear Editor,
I have been patient for almost 96 hours now. During the storm, lightning seems to have hit the transformer which supplies current to my home.
Because of this, my family and I were the first to lose current. Afterwards yes, the rest of the country lost power and I was fine with those effect’s because that was uncontrollable.
However it’s been days and I’ve made about 6/7 phone calls asking Apua to repair the transformer which powers my home.
They came and we made a verbal face to face report however they left and did nothing nor did they at least give closure that the matter would be dealt with.
They have even went to a lower post in all saints near my home yet, they have made no visible effort to repair the transformer for my home.
This is becoming a bit ridiculous because we have been without water AND current for so long.
Every home around myself has current but mine does not, due to the fact that they haven’t made efforts to even look at the transformer.
I’m becoming fed up, I have a job and a child who goes to university and power needs to be there for her to do assignments efficiently.
Something seriously needs to be done.
