Jnoure Craig has been found guilty of the 2017 murder of 38-year-old Amlack Lambert, following a week-long trial in the High Court. Lambert, who was visually impaired, was fatally shot at a Nut Grove bar on February 12, 2017.

A witness testified to seeing someone matching Craig’s description arguing with Lambert before the shooting.

Further evidence placed Craig at the scene, with cell site records showing his phone in the area at the time.

Craig, however, claimed he had lent his phone to someone else, a detail he did not disclose in 2017.

Craig maintained his innocence, asserting he was in Gray’s Farm during the murder and had no connection to Lambert.

His defence also challenged the credibility of a witness who had initially been a suspect in the case, but the jury ultimately found the prosecution’s evidence convincing.

Sentencing is scheduled for November 8.
