The GIZ Caribbean Agency as part of its NDC-TEC Project, invites interested parties to participate in a tender for the supply of one (1) new Electric Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) on behalf of the Department of Environment, Ministry of Health, Wellness Social Transformation and the Environment in ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA.

Interested suppliers should send their expressions of interest to [email protected] no later than July 24th 2024. Expressions of interest should include Company Name, Address and Contact Information (phone number and email address) for the point of contact responsible for submission of the proposal/quotation for the tender. GIZ will send the technical specifications to companies expressing interest on or before July 25th 2024. Only companies submitting expressions of interest will receive any tender updates, responses to clarifying questions and any other further information for the tender.
The proposal/quotation should include:
Completed Vehicle Technical Specification Sheet(s) including specifications (to be provided)
Complete Pricing Proposal(s) – separate document from technical proposal
Technical specification sheets for each vehicle being proposed outlining features of vehicle and accompanying accessories.
Warranty Offer for Vehicle and HV Battery
Please note the following:
Vehicle will be exempt from VAT (ABST), Taxes and Duties.
Any additional costs associated with Warranty, Service and Preventative Maintenance not included in the basic or standard costs to supply the vehicle should be proposed separately from the vehicle supply costs.
Proponents can propose multiple vehicle options that meet the technical requirements.
