Farmers Consultation to be hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture this month

Farmers in Antigua and Barbuda are who make up the country’s Agriculture Sector and as the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Barbuda Affairs looks forward to increasing the productivity of the sector they will be hosting a farmer’s consultation.

On Thursday 12th May 2022, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Barbuda Affairs will be hosting a Farmers Consultation at 5pm at the Multipurpose Cultural Center.

This consultation will focus on the plans and goals for the agriculture in 2022 and beyond. This setting will give farmers the platform to voice their concerns and to even make suggestions as to what they think can be improved in the sector to increase food security in the country.

All crop and livestock farmers in Antigua and Barbuda are invited to this consultation, so come with your questions and suggestions as we look forward to improving the agriculture sector in Antigua and Barbuda through greater partnership in food security.
