Community Mourns Nine-Year-Old Chantel Crump
The Five Islands community is bidding a sorrowful farewell to nine-year-old Chantel Crump, whose life was tragically cut short in March.
Chantel was reported missing on March 12 and found dead days later in the Weatherills area. Her family described her as a bright, loving child, taken just steps from home.
Twenty-year-old Angela Mejia has been charged with her murder after reportedly leading police to the scene. No other suspects have been named.
