Thank you for coming out and sharing your pain of exclusion.
By having an opinion and voicing it, has now earned you inclusion and you are now obliged to accept your role and responsibility and perform accordingly.
As the youth of this country, you are the majority, and the politics of the democracy we tout is based on majority rule, so unless you are prepared to get yourself and your youth colleagues registered to vote, you are whistling in the wind and your words are worth not much less than those whom you would have replaced.
The vote of the majority need not be current Party-oriented either, the youth can revolutionize everything by mounting their own Party.
A Party which is based on the best man or woman who come forward for the constituency in which you are registered; a Party based on the best Antigua is offering at this time, with a plan for more young people to run in future elections.
This Party can be managed from social media with no need for money buy-out or corruption by sponsorship.
Just register and vote for the best person on the slate from any party.
Having voted in the best of those offered, the slate may bring us to a coalition of different Parties and energies needed to stabilize and bring equality and peace to Antigua as together the politicians watch over each other and seek to impress the people for whom they work.
St. Kitts Unity Government has managed to keep the peace and mend the country’s hostilities especially among their youth.
Several years ago, Zimbabwe enjoyed its most safe and progressive period of Government under a coalition, and so did Kenya, they were periods of growth as previously warring politicians are forced to work as a team to rebuild their parties while running Government.
Majority Government means young people who are in the majority voting to put their leaders in power!
LETTER: Neglect and underestimation of us as youths
