Legal proceedings against Karim Edwards, accused of fatally injuring one AUA student and severely wounding another in a 2022 driving incident, have been postponed until September.

Edwards, initially charged with dangerous driving, now faces a charge of causing death by dangerous driving.

His attorney’s recent no-case submission led to the delay.

The incident resulted in the death of 21-year-old Kenneth Mathew and serious injuries to 19-year-old Priyanjana Das.
