Antigua Little League Baseball Ballpark Fund Raising

The Antigua Little League Baseball is a youth baseball program affiliated to Antigua Little League Baseball Inc. which has been operating in Antigua since 1994.

A few years ago, an area or land located far-east of the Potter’s Community playing field was designated to be used by the Little League Baseball program for the development of the sport, but it was not until a recent meeting with the relevant government authorities that the confirmation was made to develop a baseball park in the allocated area, which will also be used by the Softball fraternity.

Antigua Little League Baseball is glad to recognize the achievement of Ovis Portes one of our former members, who recently signed with the Boston Red Sox. This we believe that will bring awareness to the fact, that in Antigua we need a proper baseball facility.

To move forward with the development of the facility we are kindly asking Cooperate Antigua and the public to join us in the cause.

We have already launched a few raising funds projects together with the players and their parents, to assist us whether financially or with the relevant materials needed for these types of structures.

In addition, the league will be also looking for assistance from Antigua Cooperate for the donation of building materials towards the project.

Furthermore, we are asking our overseas close friends, entities and organizations for their contribution to this worthy cause.
