The Cabinet of Antigua and Barbuda has extended an invitation to the principals of the Jolly Beach Management Team, requesting their proposal for accommodating the needs of an Italian charter company called Alpitor.

The proposal entails preparing a section of the Jolly Beach Hotel to meet the specific requirements of Alpitor.

Approximately 80 rooms will be designated exclusively for charter visitors, who are expected to arrive between December 15th, 2023, and September 15th, 2024.

During this nine-month period, these specially prepared rooms will provide accommodation exclusively for adult guests and will be upgraded to a four-star standard.

To accommodate any additional passengers that Alpitour may bring, an additional 20 rooms will be prepared according to their specifications.

The total investment required for this endeavor amounts to USD 1.8 million.

The agreement between Jolly Beach and Alpitour is expected to last between three to five years.

As the owner of Jolly Beach, the government stands to earn approximately two million dollars annually from the taxes and costs associated with Alpitour’s operations during the nine-month period.
