A delegation from Antigua and Barbuda is attending the 2025 Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Youth Forum at the United Nations headquarters in New York.

The team includes National and CARICOM Youth Ambassador Esquire Henry, Director of Youth Affairs Dr Jrucilla Samuel, Youth Coordinator and Mobilisation Officer Russhell Ellis, and Programme Assistant Lael.

The three-day forum, which runs until Thursday, brings together young leaders from around the world to discuss global challenges such as climate change, education, employment and sustainable development.

Before the opening session on 15 April, the Antigua and Barbuda delegation paid a courtesy visit to the country’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Walton Webson.

The ECOSOC Youth Forum is held annually and provides a platform for young people to engage with UN member states, share ideas and contribute to policy discussions.
